Powerful double 8 inch Dual Planar wave Driver radiant source loudspeaker with for very precise constant dispersion of 5° and 15° x 100° designed for building horizontal or vertical arrays with constant dispersion where each speaker adds precise 5° or 15° dispersion angle or in other words a radiant of 1/36; 1/12 Pi per speaker. The speakers is intended to be used in arrays of 2, 3 or up to 6 speakers in horizontal or vertical arrays. Designed for venues where short to medium trow ( 3 ) sound reproduction is required.
RADIAN features DPD (Dual Planar Wave Driver) technology, The two 10° narrow slot planar wave compression high drivers in a 5° or 15° pre curved arrangement offer in combination with the two 8 inch woofer excellent dispersion control starting at 500Hz. The two high drivers provide clear low distortion ultra high frequency response even at high output levels, offering more clarity and better dispersion than conventional high drivers.
The state-of-the-art control technology uses the most advanced F.I.R. filters, providing single and dual cluster settings with exceptional phase control. These filters incorporate more than 20 years of development and research experience from one of the first designers ever to use F.I.R. filtering in such a comprehensive way that it affects not only phase, but also dispersion and spatial energy distribution.
The loss less passive crossover network guarantees that all amplifier power reaches the transducers, a substantial benefit for environmental sustainability. With one single 4 Pol cable it is possible to run 4 loudspeakers, while offering an almost error free setup of the system.
